Cedar Point Resort Reservation

We booked our Cedar Point Resort Hotel. Here is what we ended up with. This is a room in the Bon Air section of the motel. We stayed here last year. We had the opportunity to go inside one of the end rooms and my husband said if we ever come back we are staying here. Well, I had to book it. These rooms sleep 6. It has a small fridge and a coffee maker. It will cost us $189 a night. Compare that to the same room in July and it would cost $240. The weekend even higher. So check dates. They are cheaper earlier in the season and later in the season.  The room we have reserved is the wing on the right of this picture.

Now if you wanted to go cheap and get in early to the park you would need to stay at Breakers Express. Very nice, new and close. This room is $109 a night in the peak season and $89 a night in the off season.

So you might be wondering why we are willing to pay $100 more a night. First know that this kills me. I am frugal and I love a good deal, but we did get free airfare. And since that we got the free airfare my husband really did beg me to stay at this other hotel in this specific room. Our room will be about 20 yards from the beach and a total of 75 yards to the water. It is a great location. It is also very close to the entrance. Plus it will be a treat for our family as we usually do the budget vacation. This will be like a splurge for us.
